December 2023: Please note that the Cub program will be changing as of June 1, 2024. Some of these items may be able to still be used, but they will not follow the program exactly. Perhaps they can be a spring board for those who are planning their Cub years.
As we are looking ahead to next year in our Pack, we realized we’re going to have to recruit a new leader for our Tigers as our Tiger leader will be moving down to start the Lions den. So I offered up to create a yearly outline for the Tigers as I had my Wolves. This outline uses the modified requirements as of December 2016.
*** Update August 2022:
Please note that as of May 31, 2022, 19 Cub adventures have been retired. You will need to remove these and replace with other activities or pack outings. I would recommend looking at including the age-appropriate religious emblem program that fits your unit if parents agree.

Yearly Supplies List – This is a helpful jump start of items you should have on hand for these requirements. Make your other den parents get involved and ask them to help provide what you need.
Tiger Den Advancements Calendar
This plan is meant to run during a school year and to complete every adventure in the Tiger Handbook, with the exception of Floats and Boats which will require a special Den Saturday to complete the requirements in a pool.
Tiger Year Master Outline
This outline runs 100% using the printable PDF of the Tiger modified requirements. I did not have a Tiger Den Leader Guide at hand, but most of these are pretty self-explanatory. If you don’t know what to do for a requirement, I recommend a quick Google or Pinterest search as I promise you another leader has an idea out there on the Internet already.
Tiger Year Homework Sheets
Part of the success in completing the entire handbook requires involvement from Cub parents. These sheets are broken out by month so you have plenty of room to add to them if needed.
