If you’re hosting an exchange Scout this school year, we would love for you to join us for a special Exchange Scouting Keys Adventure at Sea Base’s Camp Sawyer! We’ll be there October 6th to 9th, but book your stay for what works for your family.
1. Arrange for your family’s reservations at Sea Base’s Camp Sawyer.
Only rustic tent camping is available, but tents, air mattresses, coolers, and culinary kits can be rented. Grocery store Winn-Dixie located nearby on Big Pine Key.
If you are driving in, I recommend that you get the SunPass in advance to use on toll roads as it cuts your tolls almost in half. You can buy the sticker for your car and have it sent to you in advance.
2. Consider getting a Florida State Parks Family Pass. You can look up individual park admission fees, but the family pass covers for up to eight people to enter. I’ve already recouped what I spent on the pass this year. You can buy online and have it sent to you.
3. Contact me and let me know you’ll be joining us! Once I have numbers, I will try to get group rates at some locations.
