Take a road trip and enjoy some high adventure STEM activities! This weekend, we’ll tackle the NOVA Up and Away award at iFly indoor skydiving. After that, we’ll take a turn around the old skating rink to earn the Skating merit badge. Want to take the adventure a little further? Join in on a Sunday tour at the new Jacksonville Naval Museum (exact details TBD as it is scheduled to open June 2022).
Itinerary
Saturday
10:30 AM – Check in at iFly and do NOVA program (approx. 2.5 hours)
1:00 PM – Picnic Lunch
3:00 PM – Skating Merit Badge at Sk8City Jacksonville
6:00 PM – Dinner Out (or return home if doing day trip)
8:00 PM – Return to Camp (TBD)
Sunday
10:00 AM – Jacksonville Naval Museum tour (TBD)
12:00 PM – Head to Ft. Caroline (optional)
12:30 PM – Picnic lunch at Ft. Caroline and Junior Ranger Program
3:30 PM – Depart for home
