Did you know there is a lunar eclipse coming this month? Our solar eclipse day ended up being a bust due to the weather, so I didn’t want to miss a chance to catch this eclipse while my son is still a Cub. So, with basically two weeks notice, I put together a little program and reserved two campsites at our Scout reservation with the hope some other Cubs will join us.

For those looking to do a similar program, feel free to download my program below. You may also wish to reach out to your local astronomy club to get them on board with telescopes for your event.

Cubs will be able to earn the following:

• Tigers – Sky is the Limit
• NOVA Out of the World (Wolf – AOL)
• Webelos/AOL may complete requirements toward Adventures in Science
